When I hold the stalk in the wash position water only comes out for 3 or 4 sweeps of the wiper - is this normal

Note: rear not front which is fine except that activating the fronts randomly washes the headlights, it's probably not random I just haven't figured out what's what  Geoff

fronts are washed when the headlights are on and you wash/clean/flick the wiper switch.. ... - .- -.

Rear - same as mine! Water should flow briefly before they wipe, if not the non-return valve isn't working as intended

Front - will spray every 5 times if the lights are on

I wouldn't mind getting any water at all out of mine.

My dad was fitting a new starter motor today for his RR, so whilst he had his tools out thought we would have a go at fixing his rear washer. So I had a look at the guide on here but skipped a few steps, just unscrewed the motor face whilst still fitted to the car, cleaned all the brown gunk out of the tubes which were blocked solid, also picked with some long needles and voila, working rear washer..if anyones washer not working it might be worth a go before takng whole thing off,u need some v long v fine needles/wire to get right up and into the tube and into the little washer holes on the wiper..

Lolo, my rear washer doesn´t work.
