Feedback on Nexen Roadians?

We discussed the Nexen Roadian tyre recently, and I think a couple of people purchased them, just wondering if anybody has any feedback as yet? I'm planning to order a pair tomorrow!

Cheers,

Same here: 275/45/R20's - Good tire. made in Korea I believe? Made the mistake of running them with a littlle less pressure than was recommended and damaged the sidewall but that was my own fault. Rolling Eyes

My dad bought them in 18" for his TD6 but only because it was the cheapest tyre that the local fitter could get, that's how he bases most of his car decisions Shocked

he doesn't do motorways anymore, its all local and mild off road, but I know he has had more than his fair share of punctures with them and had to replace one completely due to damage. He never had the same issue when he was on Pirellis.

IMHO, they are a false economy. Tyres and brakes are the 2 things that keep you the right way up and on the road, skimping due to cost is often not wise. (Yes I know that expensive branded tyres can also be rubbish on the road) Discovery 4 HSE

Thanks for the feedback, but I've had plenty of problems with Pirelli's, quick wear, uneven wear, punctures. I'm not really basing my decision on price, but overall the Nexens seem like a great package. Certainly feedback from across the pond is very good. They seem to be well constructed, in the US they even come with a mileage warranty.

I'm not entirely sure you do get what you pay for with tyres, certainly Pirelli's seem to be expensive and rubbish. I've also been unimpressed with Continentals.

Dan, how have you found your Nexens? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

And yet I've had 3 sets of Pirellis in various sizes and they have been the best tyres I've had on the RR. Discovery 4 HSE
