Hoorrrrayyy. We've got our snow at last! Only a couple of centimetres, but it looks nice, and should be enough for a bit of tobogganing for the kids tomorrow! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Been snowing here in Saffron Walden for a few hours now, got about 3". Been out in the Rangie for a play, very nice and comfy.. warm seat, warm wheel, warm windscreen... Very Happy Graham

Just drove home to Watford from Central London & we have about 3 inches of snow & it's still snowing. Switched the DSC off & had a bit of sideways fun Thumbs Up

A few cars & a coach abandoned on M1 - the first car on the hard shoulder on the M1 was a silver FFRR stuffed into the crash barrier Big Cry Owner found out the hard way that 4 wheel drive doesn't improve stopping on snow & ice !

I was out on 40 mile round trip last night in the wife's VW 4X4 Tiguan and it reminded me why I drive Land Rovers. Capable traction wise but as soon as you went near brakes even at 5 mph the ABS fired up and all hell broke loose. Had to drive it using Auto/Command shift to reduce speed on hills and roundabouts. Just did not feel safe and assured like a Range Rover or Discovery 3/4.
