Winch mount

G'Day second question....

Dan.. Dan.. the rover man couldnt help me so I'm back to having to fabricate my own winch mount, the cook doesn't want a full bar set up, she kind of likes the look of the winch mount on the G4 Rangies that came over here.

So what I'm after, pretty please ... has anyone got any pictures or technical drawings (I can't spell scamatics) of the G4 winch mount for the front of these beautiful vehicles.

Thanking you all in advance kindly

Hi Zig, can't help with the drawings, but I can help with the spelling of 'Schematics'... Very Happy Thumbs Up

Nice work with dual batteries on the other thread - do you have any pics?

I've been cheeky and asked on your behalf if they mind if i came and took some measurements off the winch mount.

for the use its not badly priced, and the car i've seen it on in the past was always very clean which seems strange to me having a winch as it looked more like a city plugger than a mud plugger Very Happy

Well Ziggy he is willing to sell the mount solo if you fancy it??

I'd take the bumper as well if you can to save cutting yours, or be sly and i'll buy bumper and you buy mount and keep the seperate prices down as who wants a bumper with a big hole in it anyway though im sure he will be smart and make it about £80-130 for the bumper alone if its in good nick Smile

let me know what you wanna do and i can reply. Are you in the Uk or down under at the minute?

That sounds quite nice, how much would you charge me shipping to Sydney Australia, postcode 2569?

Thanks very much Steve. That's just what I was after. If the shipping costs work out to be horrendous, I can fabricate one from this picture, and you wouldn't be able to tell it's not genuine.
