Is this to add ANOTHER FFRR to your stable and replace the fiat?

If you only plan on keeping it for 18 months, maybe you should be thinking which one would be worth the most with an extra 15k or whatever miles you put on it! Previously..

I think those prices are about right, S/C prices seem to have recovered after a period of weakness. Of course it's all down to condition really.

Go for the S/C, probably see them all and just buy the one that feels right, you could always try some severe haggling on the 07!

I've had my eye on that one for £14k, looks a nice motor, looks exactly what I'll be after when the time comes, I'm guessing mileage shouldn't be too much of an issue if it's been serviced on time? 2006 Mercedes CLS

I'd say it would be fine as long as you check it over well.

Kingpleb, when you phone up to view a car I can imagine the conversation.. "one owner, yes, you have the v5, great, and can I check the size of your wife's arse as well please".. Previously..

I've never bought into the idea that a 'one lady owner' car is a better bet, I know women drivers who don't take care of their car, driving style is foot down everywhere, bouncing up kerbs, kerbing wheels, parking scuffs etc. Generalisation I know I always think if it's a decent car, (FFRR and the likes) A mature bloke would have taken a lot more care of the car.

Kingpleb, I did see that silver one on the 'bay and there are more and more s/c's as you move south. Another one I saw is this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Range...1417wt_937
