2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

Oil top up with castrol magnatec 5W30?

Hi Chaps,

Is it ok to top up my engine which was last filled with castrol edge 5W30 with a litre of castrol magnatec 5W30, or should I only top up with the same castrol edge 5W30

Did you know there are two specs of magnatec ? Do not use A1. The correct stuff is the A3 B4 spec oil for the TD6. Previously..
Vogue SE TD6
Defender 90 2.4
Defender 110 TD5
Vogue 3.5 EFI

2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Atacama Sand

Edge is a little over the top if you don't have a DPF fitted.

The Magnatec 5-30 is fine though. They are backward compatible.
