masses of info on this , use the search function, but put the bonnet into service mode and get a stool to stand on.

hi mate, if you check on youtube, you will find a video from powerflow uk or something and they should you how to put it in service mode.

I had no problem getting a new 110AH battery in without setting the bonnet in service mode, just dropped straight in first go.

Dont forget to wait ten minutes after turning off the engine before changing Battery. |

.........and once the battery is fitted turn the steering wheel fully left then full right to set the steering parameters.. |

I thought you had to follow this proceedure to disconnect and reconnect the battery because of the pyrotechnic device in the battery +ve cable.

A friend of mine once had a Seat Leon Cupra R which did the same thing, I think it was either an aux coolant or oil pump, something to do with the turbo IIRC, might be the same on the FFRR? 2006 Mercedes CLS 1991 Retro-style Mini But really finding it hard to fight the urge for a S/C... |
