This must have been asked before but apologies as I can't find it.

Do those chrome covers need to be taken off before I try to remove my wheel nuts or do I do it with 'em on.
and the locking one?

Geoff, I left them on when I swapped my wheels over. Didn't even think to see if they came off (I don't think they do) and the wheel brace in the back of the car fits over them perfectly...

Thanks guys I have already gently tried to pull them off. I definitely would have upped the ante and starting prising with a screwdriver but now I know better before I broke anything - result  Geoff
