They are basic (less to go wrong) even lacking power steering.

The spare wheel on the bonnet doesn't help with the steering. (Try steering off road in deep mud, you'll soon have arms like Pop Eye!)

Land Rover breakers is your best place to look. ABout £200-300 in parts then add labour. |

As above, they will be abused, think company cars that are pool cars and don't have electric anything other than the starter and lights

I already use the RR for these chores and it copes brilliantly, just fancied having a utility type LR that can be abused. The downside is total lack of power and pas. Discovery 4 HSE
