MY2012 FBH Cycle time

does anyone know if the cycle time for the MY2012 FBH is back to 30 minutes, or is it stuck at 17 minutes as per the "fix" that was applied to the MY2011 ?

Mine is a March 2011 build with the AGM battery from the factory and is 30 minutes. Are you an earlier build?

When did I ever say I had a MY12. I just know it's the same. Technically mine is 2011.5MY according to Land Rover. You ask these questions and then moan and pick holes in responses. All I am trying to be is helpful Rambles.

I find you are being deliberately unhelpful. Any time there is a question about FBHs, you come up with rubbish.

To any owners of FFRR MY12.......is the cycle time of the FBH back to 30 minutes please?

Mine is a September built TDV8, so MY2012, cycle time is max 20 minutes and not sufficient to heat up the cabin as it did in my TD6. RR 2012MY TDV8 AB ipanema sand
RR 2004 TD6 sold now

Thank you roverron.

I am in correspondence with LR about the reduced cycle time - and that is is insufficient in my opinion to heat the cabin sufficiently.
I was interested to know if they had increased the time back to 30 minutes for the MY12, and this would imply that they accepted that 17 minutes was not enough.
Perhaps if enough people write to tell LR they are disappointed with the sufficiency of the pre-heat cycle, they might fix it.
But I am not holding my breath.

Well sorry you find my responses unhelpful. Maybe you need to change dealer as they don't exactly seem to be dealing with your issues either.

Having said that, if you've had so many problems, why on earth didn't you just reject the car?

I don't understand. With the best will in the world, when I am looking for a factual answer, how can you giving a wrong answer, and stating you are sure it is correct, be helpful ?

Aside from the FBH / low battery, I haven't had any other problems with my MY11. Rejecting it for another FFRR with the same problem seems pointless.

Re the stealer....yes, i have changed there. The stealer that sold it to me initially pretended there was no fault with the car.

Which I now know was not true.

I am sure I'm correct. My MY11 runs for 30 mins. My friends with MY12 runs for 30 minutes.

Hi,

I have a MY2012, but unfortunately not used the heater yet as it's garaged.
I checked the hand book though and it says it'll stay on for 30 mins. That's via the remote or auto timed setting.
Now that might just be they haven't bothered to re-print the manual !

If I get chance, I'll try it out & let you know.

I did briefly put it on after taking it out the garage the other day when quite cold just to see if it worked. After about 5 to 10 mins, it was sort of warmish inside, but not hot. I just figured being on for only 5 to 10 mins I didn't excpect much heat.
