Just had a chip repair by Autoglass and asked the guy about my 'buzzing' windscreen. I pointed out that the rubber seal around the base of the screen seemed to be a little proud. He said it was probably ok as the scuttle panel and fixings seemed ok.

I have found if the rubber at the base of the windscreen is even the slightest bit slack or has a small gap it will vibrate and you sometimes think the sound is coming from the top of the windscreen . 2008 MY Supercharged

Agreed. I should add that the Autoglass guy did also seal the rubber strip down better than it was before. |
