United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey
My Bonatti Grey 2004 Vogue

Hello from sunny Warwickshire (well, it was on Sunday at least...)

Just a few photos of my new pride and joy - a 2004 Vogue V8 with a few extra toys (20" SC alloys, rear TVs). I'm absolutely loving it so far.

I'm just starting to get it the way I want it cosmetically now - got rid of the side steps and door rubbing strips, fitted clear side repeaters, removed the front window tints (which although they looked Cool were also pretty dangerous in low light). Just on the look-out for an expedition roof rack to take a roof tent and considering a set of genuine driving lamps next. Oh, and yes I do plan on getting it muddy sometime soon! Very Happy

Steve.

I spent my late teens in the early 80's around there and lets just say it was a good place to "park " of an evening Cool

Rolling with laughter Burton Dassett still has a reputation for that sort of behaviour... not that I know anything about that of course... Whistle

Oh and it turns out my side vents have already been colour-coded in Bonatti Grey by a previous owner which is a bonus. SC rear lights are on my wish list, but that's probably as far as I'd go as I'm not looking for a complete SC look-alike, just something a bit different but subtle too.

Has anyone had their door handles painted? Mine are looking a bit tired and I'm not sure about the stick-on covers. Alternatively is it possible to swap them side to side so that the worn bit is then on the bottom out of sight?

Cheers,
Steve.

They can be painted even on the car using paper slid behind to protect bodywork. They should be lightly sanded and under coated before paint and then lacquer.

Would look good in Bonatti!
