How to get private reg valued?

Any decent websites to get my private reg valued?

One where I dont have to fill in details like home address would be good. Don't want no junk mail in the post from idiots, only want to know what my plates worth Rolling Eyes

Most of the "reputable" ones will ask for a fair bit of personal info, as they're keen to capture as much info as possible.

My only suggestion would be to use an email address made up for that reason and not use your "usual" one.

If you don't want to divulge any information, and you're only looking for a vaule and not planning to sell, your only option would be to search the same sites for similar numbers to your own and use that as a guide...........

I've used www.regtransfers.co.uk in the past and they have a big selection, but can be a bit perisistent if you provide any phone numbers etc Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

What Stan says! Thumbs Up

They make you an offer, which is usually much lower then the price they can expect to sell it for, so their profit margin is invisible to you. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

One of the biggest companies quoted me £1200 for mine (three numbers, three letters), but at the same time is trying so sell me the same plate but 2 numbers different for £3995, therefore I'd guess mine is somewhere between in the classifieds.

Give them as little info as you can. I had a car about 7 years ago with a plate i had valued, sold the car with the plate but am still getting emails offering to sell it for me for less than half what i sold it for!
They wont buy the plate from you, just advertise it on your behalf at a huge markup from what they offer you Censored and you wont get paid until they sell it

Just look for similar plates advertised for sale, then divide the price by 3 to give you a rough guide.
