might be a fuse?, or look in the rear nearside compartment and have a look out for a silver box with a blue and white white connectors in to it, the pins inside the connectors might be corroded i hope this is of any use. |

thanks for reply. i locked car and went away for a brew. went back out unlocked car and hey presto it all fired back up into action. maybe needed a moment or two to sort itself out!!

glad its all fine again stu, but keep an eye on the battery cos if its fairly old it might need replacing.. ... - .- -.

just a thought that a 'worn' battery might not have had the power to get every thing going when you re-connected it but after having it connected for a while it did.. ... - .- -.

I would imagine the ecu stayed asleep when you reconnected your battery... In locking your car and leaving for a couple of mins then opening and putting the ignition on, normal service was resumed!
