Towing Eye Cover Part number DPC500280PUY

Hi all,

Bit of a strange one.
Front towing eye cover under the front bumper was missing when I bought the car. It is a 2008 facelift Vin 8A277664. Correct part number according to the JDHT website and LR Direct website is DPC500280PUY.
Ordered and received it from LR Direct but it just doesn't fit!
There is another part number for VINs up to 5A999999 which looks similar but apparently is not the right one for my car.
A picture of the part received is below; Anybody have any experience with this part for a facelift car?
