P0088-17 high fuel rail pressure on WOT/ high rpm

Hi guys. My sdv8 tends to throw P0088 code which ends up with limited performance everytime i hit full throttle to overtake. I've searched through many other threads in regards of this subject and only found other members having P0088 on start up. Well mine isn't the case here. It drives well on most occasions but when I floor it to overtake it will throw high fuel rail pressure code. I doubt it's the wiring harness giving bad signals. It feels like I'm getting some blockages in the system instead. Can members here advise me how does the fuel system work in the L405 SDV8?

Does it go to the rails first > fuel filter > fuel cooler >back into the tank?

Trying to figure if I have a congested fuel filter. Couple weeks ago I had the entire engine and transmission out to change all seals, mounts, bearing and hoses. 1 of service item was the fuel filter. However I've only found that the OEM filter measures 2mm shorter than the original after an initial start up (hence leaking) and I had no choice but to reuse the old filter temporarily as shops are closing for a week holiday here. Before I started this process the car ran fine. I'm unsure if the old filter somehow developed a clog after it was exposed to air for 2 weeks when I was putting everything together.

Appreciate some pointers.. Thanks

I would think it would be
From tank to filter
From filter to cooler
Cooler to high pressure pump
High pressure pump to rails

Have a look on here, might make it clearer

Why discount the harness? It's a well known, well documented issue

I didn't consider the harness is because on data logging the commanded fuel pressure vs actual fuel pressure are both at very similar trajectory. The warning only triggers when I'm WOT at 4k rpm, which may indicate additional pressure build up. Went through iid tool user manual again today and noticed it is recommended to reset fuel lift pump after a remap. So far it hasn't triggered any fault code on 1st and 2nd gear pulls. I'll try higher speeds in the next few days

Reset fuel pump lift hasn't yield any favourable results so I'm back to square one. Iid tool couldn't clear adaptations so next is to order a fuel pressure sensor to see if this solves my problem.

Attached a log here incase anyone can share their thoughts. Exact point of trigger is at 3.6k rpm at full boost, WOT.
