Hastings were the cheapest for me - LV wouldn't insure. Make sure you get a quote 21-26 days in advance as it's the optimum time frame for the cheapest rates. I got a quote and then insured some 5 days before going live and the cost had gone up £200!! |

I went with Aviva for the last two years. Great policy and yet still the cheapest (£920 originally and then dropped to £740 last renewal). |

I’m back with Hastings again after a couple of years gap. RAC last year but they were like £100 more at renewal.

I find it odd that people are recommending Hastings. I was with them for eight years (Jag XFR and RRS) but when I changed my 5 Ltr RRS for a FFRR P400e at the end of September, they refused to cover it; telling me, "We no longer insure Range Rovers," when I rang them for a quote. Ended up with Admiral, as they gave me the cheapest quote. |

Think I was with LV 4 ish years ago and they wrote and said they wouldn’t renew, though I’m sure they said no longer doing car insurance, which seemed strange.

As you have a group policy, I'd try Clegg Gifford, I've been with them since the 1990s: https://www.cginsurance.com/product_type/multi-vehicle-insurance/ 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black

Tesco for me. Been with them for 4 years and they were still the cheapest by quite some margin, albeit, the premium from last year was higher. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Just done Tescos too. Was with Hastings. Could have stayed with them for cheaper than their renewal quote using the comparison sites - but that always annoys me so I'd prefer to move on. Tescos were incredibly cheap, but that policy didn't include driving other cars and its something that happens to me several times a year. Had to go £200 more to get other cars with Tescos but that was still £100 cheaper than Hastings.... Mike - MPx
