I've never heard of a product that will clear rad seal. The only way to remove it would be to flush the entier system with enough water which will likley mean opening up the lower radiator connector to backflush etc. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Remember there are drain bolts on the engine block would be wise to flush |

It’s the radiators with their fine water channels that are the problem for blockages esp where the coolant will find the path of least resistance and thus lowest heat transfer. The engine block has large passageways for coolant and will not be an issue. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Are you doing this yourself? You mention a garage has been involved. In which case don't they know how best to approach this?

hi sorry, no a garage were doing it but they are in undated with work and have had the car since 18 Dec 24. They have asked to rebook it as they don't have any room. I can do basic stuff but my friend will help as it will save on cost and that money can be used to get little niggly bits done.
