A very good point. In conjunction with this particular video I read through the comments left. Many were from mechanics and engineers all agreeing and giving real life examples.

I may be throwing a little money away but I am determined to keep my car in great shape so it continues to purr.

I could save plenty by not using premium diesel and miller's diesel max/dipetane on every fill. I am sure the cost of replacing 1 injector would negate any saving so like the oil i am happy to spend a bit more than maybe necessary.

The downside to gathering long term data is it takes a long time
Currently about 9000km on the oil.
