This now makes sense, as Lewis appeared on JDGeorgia post the other day having fitted a BMW shifter, so now makes sense he has transplanted an engine and gearbox.

He said on Facebook that it had the original gearbox so I guess it's still 4x4... I think....maybe.... Pete

I suspect RWD only is simply because it's too hard to retain the front drivetrain, nothing to do with 'wanting it to slide'.
