FBH and Gap Tool

I recently purchased a 2015 L405 4.4V8 and have discovered that the FBH is not starting up now we have some cold weather!!

I have a GAP iiD tool which I use on my Disco 3 and purchased a second vehicle licence today so I can sort out the FBH which I did at the start of cold weather on the D3 most years. However I have spent ages going through almost every menu on the device and cannot find the controls to force start the FBH this evening?? Is this not possible on the L405 via the OBD port and the GAP tool??

The dealer cannot fit me in until next week to sort it and it is far too cold to be driving around in a not pre-warmed Range Rover... Cool

Any stored codes in the HVAC module? If it's a comms problem there may be a code.

@ OP

You may not have the remote unit fitted, although you will have a FBH (all diesels do). check your build spec. If it has the remote receiver, then you can use Incontrol to initiate the FBH.

It has the remote fitted as I have a fob to switch the pre-heat on.

What is Incontrol??
