Started fitting a dash cam today and got stuck at the point where I was looking to access the fuse box in the passenger glove box. The handbook and videos I've seen show the right hand stay being unclipped (which I have done) and no mention of the left hand stay. In any event, I can't see how that would unclip.

Ok so it's the glovebox you want to drop. The stay has a barbed end so open it as normal and it hangs on the 'stays'. Then pull the top end of the stay towards the opening of the box. I think that's right for both. Only proviso to this is that I'm saying this from memory. I can check mine in an hour or so. Cheers, Greg

I didn't know you could do that. Does it apply to all models/years ? .

Not sure. Do they all have a lower glove box? |

Bit of a thread resurrection….. my glovebox seems to want to drop fully down if you put anything in it. I studied the pics above and deduced that the hanger arrow bit that you move to get it in a position to access the fuses that goes through the hole, isn’t staying fully to the right and springing back a bit, hence not much purchase.

It seemed to be made of plastic… was a bit wary of doing that. Will investigate further.

bend it gently , IIRC towards the centre console, making it a little past when it will "insert" into it's slot. then just help it into the slot Cheers, Greg
