Replacing central logo/badge/emblem on the steering wheel

I understand from powerfuluk videos that replacing the central airbag unit can be done thereby rectifying my problem, but they're quite an expensive part.

Does anyone have any recommendations for replacement steering wheel badges alone rather than the whole unit? Can't find any badges online. Apparently they pop out (sans airbag...after disconnecting the battery!)

See images...previous owner clearly banging their head against the wheel with all the repair bills Laughing

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

Hi, I took a spare green & gold LR badge when I changed all the door cards, just levered the cover off and with some carefull trimming and stretching managed to get it to fit very neatly over the top of the existing one.

Used standard LR green gold door badges, I think they were about £9 each.

Dab of contact glue to hold in place. Original one is crimped in, so it's quite difficult to remove without damaging the boss. So mine was a cheap elegant solution to get all the logos to match.

Pic below, appologies for quality, just nipped out and took it now.

A.

Interesting - will give it a go if no one comes up with a better solution! Trying to avoid it looking too "proud". Perhaps I can pick off the current one and unbend it... L322 2007 S/C 4.2L
