On a recent long journey, I started with half a tank and the range was showing less than 50 miles. I knew it was wrong, but wondered whether perhaps the tank measure was wrong, and I had a lot less fuel than I thought.

After 30 minutes driving, the range corrected to 200 miles or something like that. I guess a minor computer glitch. Unnerving all the same. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

I was told on my previous car the 405, 2017 , that there was a secret emergency supply of diesel, like a second tank with very little juice in it. All to avoid running out completely.

When I first picked the car up I had enormous trouble putting fuel in… that’s when I was told the above story. Fact or fiction… no idea Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
