Heater Motor

Good afternoon
I have a 2012 Westminster 4.4
The front heater motor has stopped working, everything lights up as it should, I’ve been informed by the Indy that generally looks after it that, it’s the motor as it is very stiff to turn, and having had a look I agree, but they have estimated 30hrs work to change the motor. Headlamps off bumper off dash out seats out, having had a Quick Look into this I’ve found a video on how to cut the dash up to gain access (not a fan of doing that) and other say it can be done in 8hrs. I appreciate it’s not a small job but any first hand experience would be gladly appreciated.

TIA
Dave

Hi there, do a bit of searching on the site. There is an excellent description which includes clear photos. I believe 1020 does not need the dash cutting but I may be wrong.
