I ordered without deployable steps and regretted it, so I had them installed.

I had deployable steps for the first time. I wouldn’t be without them now. Passengers appreciate them. I use them getting out , but step over them getting in.

That is disgraceful. In contrast my bro took delivery of a new P550e RRS which he did the deal on last week and they drove it 200 miles to his home, on Monday (last day of promo) to ensure it was registered before 1st October and qualified for all the promotions.

I ordered without deployable sidesteps and regret it. They’re £4k fitted from the dealer this many years on, so near 10% of the cars value! Seems silly but it’s the only thing my car’s missing so I’ll probably do it in a fit of enthusiasm next year. My son needs them to stop hanging off the door, which irks me, plus I’m not getting any younger, and at this rate I may keep the car forever, so… a good way to spend his inheritance. Didn’t you know that’s the new sales enhancement technique? I’m itching , I want to have another go… (it’s only a balance of how many years of life V funds) . The dealer knows my car, asked for a trade in value last week , no answer… When they have a que of customers I can understand their naivety , but they should be hungry & they don’t give a fig. The salesman IMHO is one of the more enthusiastic. Anyway passing through Colchester in a few weeks and will pop into that dealer instead. No hurry as I really quite like mine.its just an itch & senior management needs to be in a good mood . Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. The D300 is fast enough for me, cruises at 90-100mph, fast off the block, and on occasions quite frugal A couple of stages on a recent journey surprised me : 39 mpg for a 2.5 tonne beast is staggering. I think the majority of the journey was at the speed limit which was 60-70 mph ish but some go slow road works on route.
More importantly have the sellers honoured their contract? In my biz, if a seller fails to deliver on time, and the price goes up, then the buyer does not have to take the goods & the seller must pay the difference in price , in your case £8-10k . Have fun!
