United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Carpathian Grey

@E500 thanks for showing this, I went ahead and got the same unit from Ebay for £183. I was dreading installing because I hate doing jobs that involve removing trim it but things went pretty much according to plan. A couple of items to snag still
The first is that I fitted it behind the glove box but it keeps fouling the glovebox when closed so I might reposition it up under the vents as you did.

@PhillV8S, the second issue is that I have had the unit running and after a bit of playing around with the dip switches it seemed to be working OK. The instructions say switch on number 2 but the other option is 1 and 2 together or third option is 5.
In the first two options the Car Play screen had an overlay of the original GPS so I tried switch 5 and that works fine except for the fact that I can't use the backwards and forwards steering wheel controls, the volume on the steering wheel works. Did you manage to get yours sorted?
Anyone else have any suggestions?

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Aintree Green

I didn’t resolve the issue of not being able to skip tracks on Spotify via the steering wheel but not the end of the world pressing skip via the screen. I did try connecting via Bluetooth rather than Aux but didn’t make any difference for me. 2013 SDV8 4.4 Vogue SE Aintree

Thanks, you took the words out of my mouth, it's not the end of the world and it's still way better than the original RR system

How do you guys find the microphone quality on phone calls on these devices?
I ve installed a couple of android devices in the past for my previous vehicles and both were far from perfect when making calls. It definitely depends on the microphone's placement, but i think it would be much better replacing the provided microphone with a hihger quality one with a windstopper.
Where do you place the microphone on the L405?

I've managed to get mine to use the car's Bluetooth (and microphone) so it's fine for me; same as the OEM.

But it seems like perhaps not all of these units have the same options? Next time I drive the car I'll take some pics of the settings I'm using.
