The electrics should be plug and play for normal trailer, caravan use, but I’m pretty sure they wont work with LED lights. |

LED’s normally will work but the car won’t recognise them so you won’t be told that the trailer is indicating. This is caused by the reduced voltage draw compared to a normal bulb.

I have this when I connect my caravan, there are bulbs to the caravan, if I leave the engine running when I connect the lights, they don't come on until I turn the car off and then start the car.

The 13 pin socket is tested on an MOT, the 7 pin socket is not.
