Replace BCM?!?

So my 2015 RR Evoque Autobiography was in a flood & I'm having issues. My fobs began disconnecting & my battery kept dying. I put a meter on it & discovered the alternator wasn't charging so I bought a new alternator & had it replaced & my keys reprogrammed. All was good for a day & once again alternator stopped charging & fobs disconnected. I bought a foxwell nt510elite scanner & the Jaguar program & ran a scan. I'm getting 3 permanent faults, one a medium CAN bus communication fault on immobilizer & a medium & high CAN permanent communication fault on the BCM. That leads me to believe the BCM is bad & not communicating properly with everything so I ordered a donor BCM(mfr same day, same BCM model) off a totalled vehicle & was hoping to take programming off existing & put on new & just swap out. Am I thinking about this right? Is this possible?

Unfortunately don't know. Quite the predicament given the amount of electronics

BCM isn't plug and play, it is VIN coded (and programmed)

You can't recode a used BCM without specialist equipment
