Tracking Down Battery Drain, Volumetric Sensor

Hi all,

Found some great guidance/posts on how to go about tracking down my battery drain.
My question; Does my 2008 3.6 TDV8 Vogue have an internal volumetric sensor as part of the alarm?
I need to set all the locks to get the car to sleep before pulling fuses from the passenger fuse box.
How do I lock everything to put the car to sleep without setting the internal volumetric sensor?
If I set this then I'll set off the alarm and wake up the car when I'm pulling the fuses.
Am I missing something?
Thanks for any help. All the best
Chris

It does, and I believe that if you don’t double lock the car, it won’t activate, just single lock it.

Actually if you press the lock button on the remote once, it sets the internal movement sensor. If you press it again with 10 secs it disables the internal movement sensor.
Just found the RR quick start guide which describes how you lock unlock etc. All the best

Yeah, it’s the other way round on the later cars, was trying to think back to my TD6. It’s all in the manual.
