For several weeks, I had an issue with the oxygen sensor, which I kept clearing (P2275-00 Oxygen sensor signal stuck rich. Bank 1 - sensor 3). The sensor was replaced once in 2022 by JLR during a recall. Yesterday, after replacing it once again, the error disappeared. However, even though the vehicle starts in electric mode each time, when the combustion engine kicks in (sudden acceleration, etc.), it won't switch back to electric mode, unless ignition is turned off and back on. I initially thought this was related to the O2 sensor, but the problem persists. Has anyone with a P400e experienced something similar?

OK, so one day later it started working normally (as it did before the O2 sensor broke), maybe it’s because yesterday it was hotter (40°) and today it’s only 35° and the petrol engine was required for cooling?! Anyway, the switch between thermal and electric is happening now like in the good old days... |

The petrol engine shouldn’t be required for cooling unless it has a fault. Should work fine in ev mode. My Previous RR's!

Yes, now it does. I thought it would perform similar to very cold temperatures, when the ICE kicks in... |

OK, after two days of normally switching between electric and ICE, it started behaving like before, that is starting electric, but after switching to engine, it doesn't switch back to electricity unless the on off button is pressed. No errors this time, I am lost... Checked both 12V batteries, OK. Again, could it be the outside temperature, it's over 35deg? |

To conclude this thread, it was the O2 sensor, after this summer's crazy temperatures ceased, the car started functioning normally and still does (knock on wood). |
