Well, it didn't take long to conk out. It still didn't start, and nobody local wanted to touch it so I decided to DIY. How complex can 42-year-old electrics be I thought?

I'm not sure, Stephen. I haven't had cause to remove a wheel as yet. The hub caps are secured by an anti-tamper kind of bolt, though. Quite forward-thinking for the time I thought.
