Yes, it does have a proper Ski hatch, called exactly that to avoid any confusion.

I'm afraid not. If you didn't know what the button is for, you'd struggle to figure it out from the picture.

All I know is it's easy to catch and not always obvious that you've released it until you press the button to lower a seat and nothing happens because it isn't latched....

Final question, so if I can find one with the little button with the ski hatch thingy but no tow bar, can I still retrofit the tow bar? Ie is there the place to put the switch for the tow bar in the boot?
