Range Rover L405 Rear Door lock switch trim replacement

Hi All, looking for some advice on my latest purchase a 2017 L405.

On the left rear door the black wood trim piece, part number LR078322, is looking pretty tatty with scratches. So, I ordered a replacement part from Range Rover direct. The problem is, I can’t work out how to take the old one off. Is there some screws in to it in the door card or is it just pressed on really tightly? I didn’t want to break it, so thought I would ask for some advice before I went any further.

It feels like it is being held in by something when I managed to get a trim remover underneath it as it was a very tight fit.

Pictures attached of what I am trying to replace. I am keeping the same switch it’s just the wood trim I am swapping. Any help greatly appreciated if anyone can assist. Thank you.

Wait till the new one turns up and it should be possible to see how it fits, I would imagine it is screwed in from the back but you never know... Thumbs Up Pete

The 2013-2017 workshop manual in the Wiki shows that it has fixings on the inside so you will need to remove the door card. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey
