United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Waitomo Grey

Just ordered mine so looking foreward to a play.

FWIW I paid £286 which I found from 2 suppliers (LRParts and Norse 4x4) but several more at various prices with £348 plus postage the most I was asked to pay. That's quite a variation so deffo worth a quick search. If there's better bargains that I found out there it would be handy if they could be posted up somewhere for future generations....but pls not before I've gone offline! Wink Mike - MPx

Sorry MPx Mr. Green

Just paid £278 inc. VAT, P+P from here - http://4mostoffroadparts.co.uk/index.php?r...uct_id=554

An impulse purchase but the things IID can do are increasing by the week!

Does the licence code come with the IID?

nubbin, you stick the IIDTool into your obd port and it generates a number, you then email this number to GAP and they send you an activation code which you enter into the unit when its plugged in the obd port.. ... - .- -.

Oh right, thanks for that Stan. I don't know, buy a FFRR at a bargain price, then front end conversion, LPG conversion, new set of wheels, new tyres, and now an electronic spanner - starting to get expensive this!

C1A20 error code suspension

Hi Steve or whoever can help.

I am getting an error code in RLM suspension:

C1A20 pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir.

I also now and again get the suspension fault, normal height only notice on my dash when driving not all the time. Also hear some hissing when I get out of the car, but again intermittent.

Are these the tell tale signs of a leaking bag? How can I tell which one?

Thanks in advance.

Hi lolo

Normally, when an air bag is leaking, the vehicle will become crooked when left unattended overnight. If it stays straight, your air bags are fine. Also, you may get other fault codes if an air bag was defective.

C1A20 pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir.

This fault code can be caused by three things:

1- The compressor is worn out.
2- The compressor is used extensively in a short period of time and heats up (toggling from access to off-road repeatedly for example).
3- The compressor is attempting to fill the reservoir but it is not able due to a leak.

Since you mentioned the possibility of a leak, case 3 would be a more plausible cause. Your leak is probably located between the reservoir and the valve block. This is where you should start investigating.

Cheers!

Can anyone tell me how much it is for a second IID tool licence?
I've not bought one yet but just wanted to know the cost if I change my car.

Cheers

Hi Damian

Yes, the unit is transferable to another vehicle if you ever sell it and buy another one. Its free of charge for the original purchaser.

Thank you

Great eh?

Not sure how much it is to add a second vehicle rather than transfer though...

Ok thanks, its what I thought from all the reading of old threads. I'm hoping it is a pressure sensor, because when I start the engine, and I fiddle with the heights they fill or deflate v quickly without any problems, or It could be the compressor overheating during driving cause of a leak, but the leak is most probably a pin hole cause I have never seen the RR lob sided, only the odd hiss. Hopefully I get a few months out of it either way, I'm v busy doing some bathroom renovations at the mo Thumbs Up
