AJV8 4.4 and 4.2 supercharged exhaust question

Are the rear silencers the same silence minus the two shiny tailpipes? Need to replace mine on a 4.2 and found a late 4.4 one.. Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

Yes apart from the mounting brackets they are fitted in a different place on the tail pipes them selves due to chassis mounting locations
