@Kevin - but you also had oil needing to be topped up regularly until you cleaned the MAP sensor and it stopped, so far so good for me also |

I think you've misunderstood what was wrong with mine. My filter drain valve had come off it's locating post and that was somehow flooding the intake system with oil. While it was like that my MAP sensor was clean but wet with oil instead of the usual sooty deposits.

Well cleaning the MAP sensor really helped, not getting the oil loss after 1000 miles, just a few drips on the driveway, opened the bonnet again this afternoon after a 200 mile trip and noticed oil where I have circled it Yellow, seems like where I took off the throttle body intercooler pipe and made a better fit with 3 large o-rings (circled in orange), the oil has now found a way to escape more towards the plenum, what would be a quick fix ?

There is an O ring there. It's probably worth replacing. Part number LR022931
|
