My old 3.6 tdv8 did exactly as you are speaking following split intercooler hose.

Hello, did you managed to get this issue sorted? I’m having the same problem but getting the code Р0489-00 for Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) control circuit low and in restricted performance all the time |

I never did figure mine out and ended up trading in for a facelift 3.6 as mentioned above.

Mines is a 3.6 2010 facelift, hoping it’s maybe related to the EGR then |

As yours is a 3.6 tdv8 you could physically blank the EGRs and map them out.

With the fault code you are getting I reckon one of your EGRs is sticking/has failed.
