JLR to offer £150 per month towards Range Rover insurance

No good for any of us with existing vehicles but they are clearly worried about future sales:

I heard the insurance is by the month not per annum, therefore liable to fluctuation. That was someone who had actually managed to get there L460 insured by them. Which believe it or not it's quite rare.

The start of the race to the bottom here, difficult situation but surely this isn't sustainable? BMW i3 Electric Car

Hi, new to forum but collecting my first RR from Solihull next week…
It was a pain in the backside but I finally managed to get the insurance contribution sorted. Dealer link didn’t work and insurance team couldn’t help… worth about £5k over 3 years so worth the pain.

Dealer also sent me my paperwork today with the added bonus of an unexpected £7,200 discount courtesy of JLR contribution…

Hi, getting a P550e Autobiography in Charente Grey with Nickel trim. Only extras are privacy glass and home link buttons. Thought I ordered upgraded (near-analine) leather but apparently not, according to the dealer! I will have it for a week the. It is going to a detailed for 3 days to get full paint correction and ceramic coating. Will be tough to be parted with my new baby at birth!

I had similar (£279/month) but once the £150/month JLR contribution is added it is a lot more palatable. I had to work hard, between dealer, insurer and JLR customer support to get the discount though!
