Hey gang! I’ve been trying to review the fault codes stored in my cars memory by downloading an app called ‘Torque Pro’ and using an ELM 327 obd2 Bluetooth reader… Unfortunately it’s not working and I’m not sure why? For some reason the reader doesn’t appear in the Bluetooth devices on my phone, but the red power light is on (see pic, please ignore my ugly mug in the background). I thought it was broken, so bought another one, only to have the same thing happen again…?!? Has anyone else tried this or similar? Did it work? Am I missing something fundamental? Thanks.. |

I heard somewhere that there were a few fake ELM327 about.
