various not available

hi,
i have this re-occuring problem on my 2017 L405. It randomly displays that all the following are not available, Emergency brake assist, HDC, ATPC, stability control, AEB, forwartd alert. i've read about dirty, misaligned radars, dirty windscreen blocking cameras etc, it does it irrespective of how clean/dirty it is, (though still not sure if cameras, radar or both control these systems ) The strange part is , if i shut off and restart ( even without moving) the fault is gone. It very rarely returns once moving but has done on a couple of occassions. I'm assuming that by restarting i'm resetting the software and thats why it clears ?. If something is dirty, misaligned, faulty, how would just restarting clear it ?? The battery is brand new. Anyone else had similar. Any advice appreciated- thanks

I had a similar problem recently, though mine went into those faults all the time.

The code reader came up with lots of faults, but the most significant was rear right ABS sensor. So I bought a new ABS sensor from JLR (having been advised only to go for genuine parts due to random problems that can occur from non genuine ones).

When I came to start to remove the old sensor, I saw this...

This is the plug from the main wiring loom that connects to the ABS sensor, and if you look closely one of the wires is broken (the green is the corrosion on the copper where it has been flexing and eventually broke). All very well, but how to access the plug to do anything about it. I ended up cutting the other wire, disassembling the plug...

Then soldering new wires into the plug before soldering the new wires to the wiring loom with lots of heatshrink.

Cleared the faults and the problem has been fixed - all for the cost of £0 and a few hours. I wonder if one of your plugs is going the same way and connecting intermittently? Current:
