Does my car definitely come with a FBH? 043AV

Hi all,

I have this fob however, car only blows out cold air when pressing on.

I have read that some cars may not actually have the FBH / Heater option... My build sheet states [022AY];Park Heating - Park Heating With Remote Control [043AV]

Does my car definitely have the heating function? I've tried to find the FBH under the bonnet but unable to find it?!

I have a webasto specialist coming out to me next week but no point calling him out if I don't have the heating function!! Can someone help?! 😭

It’s under the passenger front wheel arch, sort of under the battery. It’s exhaust is down where the front mudflap would go.

It will only heat at low temperature I believe.

That's one point, the other point is; you need petrol (or diesel)! Your petrol tank must be between 1/2 and 3/4 full otherwise the heater will not start.
You should also be able to hear the pump, a constant "click" sound.

Thanks guys,

If I have the fob and the telestart module in the back do I definitely have the FBH? Could it be that some cars only provide ventilation for the summer?

I can't seem to find the FBH unit....

The unit is located under the wheel arch panelling on the passenger side, under the battery as mjdronfield already said. If you look under the car you can see the exhaust, small silver coloured flex pipe.

It is quite possible that the pump is not working

Can't see it 😭

I note on the instructions provided above it states that there is an option to switch on summer / winter mode. My fan is only producing cold air could it be that my car is in summer mode? I don't know where the summer / winter option is?

You will have to take the front wheel arch liner out or look behind it. It was standard on all diesels.
