Try removing the battery lead for a minute or so. Nothing to lose, and You never know it may sort it. |

I'll give it a bash tomorrow; I did pull Fuse 5 (which in theory should do the same job) and that made no difference. But as you say, it's a zero cost thing and worth a go. |

Well absolutely it could be. Trouble is I don't know where to find that. I have a question about the KVM - is that the thing that the keys are paired with? I'll need to ponder how I can identify that as a possible cause of the issue. |

Have you tried holding the key in the very specific position against the lower panel below the light switch then attempting to start? The owners manual has following instructions and a picture showing the key positioned below the light. The key may need to be moved about a little to get it to work.

Greetings - I appreciate the input, but that doesn't change anything (with either of the keys I have).

If you have "Smart Key Not Found" message, then at the very least you should try placing your key just below the light as per instructions shown above, not sure why you would not want to do that in your quest to troubleshoot the issue - please don't shoot the messenger |

Is there, by any chance a Construction crane with remote control nearby?
