I am thinking of having one of these systems installed. I know they are expensive but probably not compared to insurance renewal after a theft

Has anyone had a system fitted and can confirm the pre heat still works when alarmed?

I would imagine everything would be fine seeing as the system can remote start and still be armed but just asking.

Hate to say this but car alarms less than useless, theives just set them off constantly so you and the neighbours get so upset you're forced to disable it, they then come along, give it a nudge, doesn't go off, they're in and away.

Same as trackers, they just shove the car in a steel container, or copper lined car transporter, it can chirp all it likes, signal is not getting out.
