Of course the diesel models have another secret weapon to reduce oil viscosity at low temperatures “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that? |

My Canadian L322 (2008) had a block heater as standard, I wonder if they dropped it on the L405 ? Agreed its a bit of a miss in a cold climate. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Using a block heater during the winter is a game changer. It ensures the car starts smoothly, without any struggle. This surely reduces wear and tear on the engine. Plus, a significant bonus – it gets the cabin warm quickly.
