Is this battery correct?

I have a battery monitor connected to my TDV8 4.4 2011 and it shows battery and Charging as good but the cranking voltage is low. I normally use it daily but I left it for a week and it only just started.
Is this battery correct? Dec 2011 L322 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Orkney Grey/Sand leather

Just type 013 into Search Whistle

Seems like it's too small & you'd be better with an 019 or 020

I have the same battery monitor and used it on my last FullFat (it’s now fitted to the F Pace).
The cranking result can be low if you have done a number of short journeys or if the car has been standing unused for a while. Go for a good countryside or motorway run, say thirty minutes at least then stop and restart and check the cranking voltage. It usually then goes into the green but I don’t take much notice of the reading to be honest.
(I’d be tempted to look at replacing it with an 019 personally). 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀

Thanks Chris

If you look at the Tanya website it seem the 019 and 013 are the same battery (non-agm) maybe the cranking power is different

Just looked again the cranking power is lower

I think I'm going to get this one with a 5 year guarantee, thoughts?

Presumably that was one of the recommended ones for your reg number. I had the 3.6 TDV8 so I went for the H3 Varta, which is currently £112 plus delivery. Perhaps the 4.4 needs a different (and more expensive) battery Question 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀

yes the last 2010 models onwards TDV8 4.4 are better served with 019 AGM battery, even though it is not a "Stop Start" car, the BMS is able to charge it better when they have AGM batts in them - they cost more though approx £160

Buellie,

Try the Battery Group based in Barnsley, South Yorks as they they are very good price wise.
