Seems odd how quickly they have got stuck - I mean they are removed every week as part of the weekly checks of vehicle safety... |

Had them fitted to my discovery, siezed solid all you can do is grip as gently as possible below the valve cap with a pair if grips as you undo and hope a bit of rag or card should stop you damaging the stem of the valve if not ATS i am afraid. Smear them with copper slip.

I learned many years ago that metal valve caps are a really bad idea. Plastic every time for me. |

they are stuck fast, dont want to force them to hard but i think i will have to, have to wait till the weekend and have the wheel off, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

It's a chemical reaction between the different metals in the cap/stem, essentially accelerated corrosion. Sounds bad |

i think the next set will have to be the ones with the nylon inserts..first set lasted a week, 3 out of the 4 went missing in sainsburys car park,so the next set had the little locking grub screws, never lost any but i bet they tried..so just a warning to all that may have them,get a bot of copper eze on them or get rid before the stick fast..
