Further information, a past owner has replaced the ignition key switch/ barrel.

Have you tried looking for signs of rodents that might have had a go at the wiring and/or water ingress under the dash and in the boot where most of the modules live ? |

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven’t yet, but I get the impression the car went off the road due to the electrical issue, as opposed to the issue occurring whilst it was off the road. 2007 L322 TDV8 3.6 Vogue SE

I had a look at the BCM under the passenger seat today. Just to see if there was anything obviously up with it. Only a little very minor corrosion on the big pins on the female end of the plug. I cleaned them up, plugged it back in, but it didn’t help.

I did check the modules in the boot. Left side. Everything works there, Sat nav, Bluetooth, TV etc. No evidence of water damage there.

If water evaporates, it will rise up until it hits something to condensate on.
