Screen just died...

My 2014 L405 infotainment screen just died, nothing, not a sausage. Any pointers before I start taking things apart ?!

Thanks

I would try the battery disconnect trick…disconnect it and leave it disconnected for a few minutes then you touch positive and negative cables together before reconnecting battery. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

in addition to the battery idea above, you might find a low power battery will not boot up 12v sockets and other electronics including the infotainment screen..

did the screen come back on when you had travelled some time? ... - .- -.

Which battery to disconnect or both ? The main battery is new and the car was being used, so not a low volatge issue I'd have thought. It just stopped working after having used the car, jumped back in 20 minutes later and no screen or systems off it. Since then used it a few times and it's dead.

Update, disconnected both (as above) to be safe and sure enough it's back to life. My main battery is new, the Aux is the original I think. Could that be the culprit ?

Thanks for the pointers chaps, as ever it's appreciated.
