Hi

I am trying to upgrade my factory fitted analogue tuner todigital tv (DTV) and lookingn for someone who has installed a unit like this;

http://www.tv-in-motion.co.uk/

Did you install a plug and play TV in motion unit, or are you just referring to unlocking the factory fitted hybrid or digital tuner??

thanks

The 753 hack works perfectly for me to watch tv on the move. No need to buy/connect anything. Range rover td6 54 reg touch screen

It works for me also, but its far from convenient to enable and you have to select the channel you want to watch first.

No. Im able to change channels from the steering wheel once in the menu. And even select radio or cd and back to tv.

I can change through a few channels from the steering wheel controls, but not the entire list that I can see when in park with the handbrake applied.

Hi justinp, once in the hidden menu and with tv on try pressing the menu button and you should be able to select the radio/cd/tv.
You can also used the forward and previous keys to select stations aswell as steering wheel. Range rover td6 54 reg touch screen

Hi Stu

I have a 2007 tdv8 vogue SE with the luxury rear ICE fitted. It has TV, DVD, SatNav, VentureCam and Phone.
As you would know, the VentureCam, TV, SatNav and phone features are all turned off whilst moving at a certain speed.

Does fitting the device you have fitted allow you to operate the listed devices at any speed?

I look forward to your advice.

AFAIK, the sat nav input on the move has to be a software update by your dealer. I have a 2008MY Vogue SE and this is enabled on mine out of the box, earlier cars can be done. I think this one also covers being able to muck about with the phone too, as you get the update that pulls down the phone's directory via bluetooth too.

The Venturecam thing I have never tried in detail, but I know you can watch the venture cam on the move as standard. Discovery 4 HSE

My VentureCam is dead as the previous owner never used it and the battery cells died. I'm in the process of reviving or replacing them. From other posts I understand that the VC is disabled as anything above 20 kph.

IIDTool? - not familiar with that one - I have Hawkeye.
